How it works
- Hash on your device. Only the hash is sent.
- Pending until a real Bitcoin height.
- A receipt proves those bytes existed by that height. It does not prove the contents are true.
- Anyone can check at /verify with no account.
- For a composed object, keep the object file; without it the parts cannot be displayed.
Your device hashes the file or line you pick, so a different file is a different hash.
That hash is sent to Bitcoin to be dated, and you get a Proof file right away that reads pending until a block includes it.
A height means these exact bytes existed by that block, and anyone can check it at /verify or with the Proof file alone, without an account and without us; it does not mean the words are true.
An orange mark means these exact bytes existed by that block. It does not mean the words are true. A firm hashes on its side. The file never arrives. A height is the only thing that triggers a call.
The old clock is a server. This clock is a Bitcoin height for these exact bytes.
A video is hashed. It is never uploaded. A firm sends the hash, not the file.
Optional: the phone may report a place. That is a claim, not a proof.
You keep the file. We keep the hash.
The receipt file can be kept and checked even if soulintime.com is gone.

For a person
Hash a line or a file on your device. You get a page.
A height means these exact bytes existed by that block. It does not mean the words are true.
One file: pick it on /try. Several files and a line: keep the object file.
Example: the Door, a public line in block 965906. Check it at /verify.
For a later self or a family: date the letter or the note under a thread label. Use Date an update when something changes. Keep the file and the proof file. The receipt only proves the bytes existed by that height.

Hand-off
Give someone a receipt link, its proof file, or a context pack. They can check it without an account and without trusting us: at /verify, or with any OpenTimestamps client.
Example: send the Door receipt and its proof file. The reader runs ots verify -d 019bd3056ae35f6eee3f61fcabdaabcfe5f374c07168a7e4d6fa38a828cbac2f proof.ots or opens /verify.
For an agent
Three calls. Trust blockHeight only when status is confirmed. height_asserted is not proof.
Give an agent a context pack. It may cite slug@height only after GET /functions/v1Verify?hash= says confirmed with that height. Otherwise it refuses and says the receipt is pending or missing.
Example: v1Verify for the Door says confirmed at 965906, so an agent may write a-hash-is-a-door-that-2026-019bd305@965906. The contract and the pack format: /functions/llmsTxt.

Labs, archives, legal teams, supply chains and AI training sets may later read these same receipts the same way. Nothing here is offered to them.
