Bitcoin is the clock.

We date bytes to it.

• Hash on your device. Only the hash is sent.
• Pending until a real Bitcoin height.
• A receipt proves those bytes existed by that height. It does not prove the contents are true.
• Anyone can check at /verify with no account.
• For a composed object, keep the object file; without it the parts cannot be displayed.

Write a line or pick a file. The phone hashes it. Bitcoin is asked to date that hash. You get a page you can send. Pending = not in a block yet. A height = these exact bytes existed by that block. It does not mean the words are true.
